Question Overclocking on the GA-F2A68HM-S1?

I have an old athlon x4 860k and gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-S1 motherboard lying around.
So, I would like to know if I can overclock my cpu with that motherboard? I also have the stock cooler for the procesor,
so a little advice on a cheap good overclocking cooler would be nice as well.

Yes, you can OC the CPU on that board. But w/o any heat sinks on the VRMs and poor phase power, don't expect much. The Cooler Master 212 EVO is usually the lowest priced quality cooler (assuming you have the room in the case) if you don't mind removing the motherboard and stock retention brackets.
This smaller (less expensive) Rosewill will fit smaller cases and has clips so you can use the existing AMD retention brackets like you are now. Should still be enough to get you the best OC the board will safely support.
