Hi toms people.

Im building my mate a PC soon, And was wondering which of these motherboards would be most suitable for overclocking the G3258 , We are on a very tight budget of $100.

ASRock H81M Motherboard

MSI B85M-E45 Motherboard

Gigabyte B85M-D2V Motherboard

ASRock B85M-PRO3 Motherboard

ASUS B85M-F Motherboard

ASRock B85M-PRO4 Motherboard

'Extra Information'
We will be using stock cooling as the budget doesn't fit a cooler
We are hoping to reach at least 3.8Ghz
We have a 550W PSU, 80+ bronze single rail
2x2GB 1600mhz ram
Budget for a motherboard is $100 Australian, We are purchasing from PCCG

Thankyou

You cannot overclock using the stock cooler. You WILL destroy the CPU. You MUST have an aftermarket cooler if you want to overclock that chip, even only to 3.8Ghz. With a budget cooler like the Cryorig H7 which is about 34 bucks, you could probably go to 4Ghz. Anything higher and you'll need a higher end cooler like the Noctua NH-U14S or Cryorig H5 (4.2-4.5), NH-D14 or D15 or Cryorig R1, all of which will probably allow you 4.3-4.7 depending on that particular chip's favorable or not so favorable properties.

Aside from that, you can find the information you need about the boards here, including what' good and what's not:
