Question Overclocking Phenom CPUS and A6/A8 CPUS

Hi,Can You overclock these cpus ar the highest frequency without the BIOS?If not Can You use AMD Overdrive?

I have seen this site from my country and i found a few cpus but I don't know if I can overclock them.Is the BIOS locked in these computers?
These are second hand PCS!

Overclocking depends on if the motherboard allows for it and what options are available to you for it. While I believe Phenom IIs are more overclocking friendly (via multiplier changing), APUs are not (requires BCLK changing, which won't let you get very far).

So can you overclock the CPU model A8 6500?If not can you use the AMD Overdrive?

I'm just going to say no and no.

We could go down a rabbit hole to get the "yes" out of this question, but it's honestly not worth it. If you need better performance, drop in better hardware.
