Hello,

So I was planning on overclocking (completely new) and I was looking at youtube for people with overlocking vids of the same CPU.

I found this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FMpEiV69U4
Now i have 1600 mhz ram instead(KINGSTON HyperX (6144 mb, 1600 mhz, CL9, 1.6 v, non-ecc, unbuffered, kit of 3)) rest is identical. (cpu,mobo,cooler). PSU is 650 watt corsair

I tried the settings he uses but i get bluescreens once my load reaches 100%. I read somewhere that most bsod are related to memory.

Since the person in the vid has 1333 memory he uses different settings. I tried 9-9-9-25 with 1.65 volts at the same memory clock. But i am thinking there is something wrong there.

EDIT: I just noticed i posted this in the wrong section, could someone move this to overclocking?
