Let's say I had a 8800GTX in 1 computer and a 8800GTX OC (pre-overclocked) in another. (2 idenitcal PC's)

Which one could I manually overclock further???

Could I save money by buying the cheapest 8800GTX and overclocking it past the levels of the most expensive 8800GTX's???

Does a regular and preoverclocked card have the same Mhz where they can be safely overclocked????

Thanks For all your Help!!!!

It changes from card to card. Some pre overclocked cards are pushed to far. around 20% of pre oced cards wont boot. Save the extra $and buy a non oc one, it will oc about as far as a pre oced one give or take a bit. They all have similar cooling, except the evga 8800gtx ac3. Liek I said above, save the extra $, why would you need to oc a 8800 gtx anyways?

Well I just Used the 8800 as an Example
I was just wondering if you could overclock a given (pre-overclocked)
card farther than a non oc card

naw they will oc just as far as the same non pre-oced card. If you wish to push it further, save the money that you would spend on a pre-oced card, buy it non pre-oced then buy an after market cooler for it. That will allow you to push it further with cooler temps. If you don't want to buy the after market cooler it will oc as far as the pre-pced one will, with the after market cooler it will go further.
