Overclocking problem 8350

I was overclocking my 8350 to 4.4 Ghz (from 4.3). Once I had applied the overclock and reset my computer it would turn off then a second later turn off then turn back on again, after it did this though it would boot regularly. Could someone help me figure out the cause of this and a solution so I can get to 4.5?

i just overclocked FX-8350 to 4.5Ghz 2 hr ago. All i did is change the vcore from default 1.40V to 1.425v.
I ran smallFFT prime95 and crashed on the default 1.4V, so i add another 0.025v and it seems to be stable so far. Played farcry4 for 2 hrs and is stable.
I am using the default Black Edition CoolMaster cooler with2 Fans
I use a older gigabyte GA-970A-D3 motherboard
