ok.. im having problems with my 3DMark scores.
I have been trying out some overclocking (only slightly) and i had been getting over 10,700 score on firestrike basic. But now for some reason, i have been getting 500 less score every time i run it.. I have tried everything to speed it back up again, scanning for viruses cleaning computer with CCleaner.. Im not sure what to do. Is my card starting to break even though its only 2 months old?? What is happening! help!

My specs are:

Asus GTX 780ti DirecutCU 2 OC edition.
Asus z97-A motherboard.
Cheftech 800W PSU.
i7-4770 CPU with Noctua fan (cant remember exact model)
Samsung 128Gb SSD
Sata 1Tb HDD.

Please help me. i dont like seeing these lower results.

Oh.. i forgot to mention that i tried to overclock it to get the scores up but it did not help. i put the core clocks up to 1120 boost from 1020 and for some reason it just comes up with the same result as before i overclocked and the basic clock are even worst than before.

problem solved then! cheers!
there are always variations while testing and a 500 point variation out of 10000 is acceptible. also you may overclock your gpu but im pretty sure that isnt applied while testing. if you check the harware info on 3dmark it will most probably state the default clocks.!

nope.. i just tried to reinstall my driver and its back to normal... should have been the first thing i tried.. but thanks for your help..

By the way.. i am clever enough to check that the clocks rise with the Overclocks that i do by looking in the details after it has been tested... otherwise i would not have posted here 😛

problem solved then! cheers!
