Ok so I had this board for about 1yr and half gotta say love it.

Here my setup:

Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P

4x G Skill F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK @ 800 (ill explain why 800) = total of 8gb

Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2

XFX PVT95GYDQ3 GeForce 9500

OCZ OCZ550FTY 550W PSU

WD 500GB

CM Stacker 830 Evolution

For some reason if I try to overclock G skill to 1066 (which is standard speed it should run @) I get blue screen until i reset my BIOS.

I went to G skill forums tried everything they said but some many people post kinda about other question in my thread kinda gave up.

Here that forum http://gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=1129

Just wondering if any had this issue and if they found a solution

I went to gskill forum but there forum a mess people keep posting diff problems so i figured let me try here

Thanks

Its worth pointing out here that the Phenom does NOT officially support 4 1066 DIMMs, though some can get them working. I suspect that is your problem here. Officially its a max of 2 Dimms (one per channel running dual channel).

But post your specs as Saint19 requested. Some have succeeded with 4 1066 and maybe saint or someone else with more experience with this topic can walk you through it.

This pdf offers some of the extended settings used on an intel board. At no point does it mention if the chips have been tested on an amd platform.
One thing is clear, you need to set for 2.1v and with amd platform you may need to kick up the cpu memory controller voltage another 0.1 volt to get it to work with 4 dimm chips. The timings used should be usefull since they will have to be set manually. good luck
