Would a faster FSB x a lower multiplier or a slower FSB and a higher multiplier be faster? Lets take a hypothetical situation... Take an Athlon 64 3000+ (200 x 9 ) and then lower the multiplier to 8 and raise the FSB to 225 (225 x 8 ). Which would be faster? Up until recently I thought that the higher FSB would be faster, but I have heard otherwise.

Faster FSB => Higher Multiplier. Kinda like a 1GHz CPU w/o Clock Stepping vs. a 1GHz CPU w/ a 10x Multiplier.
