[SOLVED] Overclocking RAM on an ASRock A320M-HDV

First, let me apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge so please hang with me. My clock speeds for my Patriot Viper 8GB (2x4GB) 3000Mhz is 1066Mhz in CPU-Z. So I'm a little confused. Is this all my motherboard can run at? Can I overclock my RAM to run at the desired clock rate?

CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 1700x. I'm not sure what xmp/docp is or how to enable it.

You enable it in the BIOS. Refer to your manual for where it is and how to do it.
