Hey guys, I'm hoping you can help me out.
I've a H81M-E Asus motherboard and an 8GB pair (2x4GB) of this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820313405&cm_re=vulcan-_-20-313-405-_-Product

When I try to adjust profile from disabled to XMP (Which are the factory OC settings) and reboot to save, it automatically changes back to disabled and stays on the defaults clock speed and timings.
I've done a lot of research and I think my MOBO is able to OC, but most people go to the "AI Tuner" settings, which my BIOS doesn't have.

EDIT: My MOBO does not allow CPU overclocking. Not sure if this helps.
I'm not too familiar with OC'ing anything other than my GPU.

Additional info:

Windows 8.1
I5-4440
GTX 760 2GB

Thanks everyone!

Solution
since your kit has only one xmp profile and it is 2133 apparently you cant run that. it auto adjust to one of the jedec profiles.!make sure it is set at the optimal one. memory tab on cpu z states the memory frequecy! for example 800mhz due to dual data rate equals to 1600mhz. you can manually set timings through bios

H81 and all other non Z mobos are limited to 1600mhz and doesnt support cpu overclocking. also your cpu has locked multiplier so even with a proper mobo you wouldnt be able to o/c. non Z mobos were given some o/c ability after a bios update but only with Intel Pentium Anniversary Edition Processor installed!

your memory kit may not be able to run at 2133mhz with your mobo but at 1600mhz will be able to run at a lot tighter timmings. cpu z will state any other jedec or xmp profiles avaliable!

CPU-Z shows 3 different JEDEC profiles and 1 XMP-2132 profile.
So, should I be able to switch to those profiles? Every time I try the XMP profile in my BIOS, it switches back to "disabled" after restart.

Or are you saying I can't switch to the XMP profile at all?

Thanks for the help!

well , maybe a bios update may solve this! by the way , what timings does your cpuz memory tab states? if any cl of 10 or below , you wont need to change anything!

Updated my BIOS, no change. Oh well.
Here is was CPU-Z says:

DRAM freq. - 665.1 MHz
CL - 9.0 clocks
tRCD - 9 clocks
tRP - 9 clocks
tRAS - 24 clocks

Are these good? I'm no RAM expert, Haha.
I really appreciate all of your help! :)
