I have had this motherboard for a while with a quad core processor and ddr3 1600mhz memory. I have searched through many forums on this particular motherboard and have not been able to find a solution. Through the bios I have only been able to clock my memory at 800mhz and was wondering how to clock it up to 1600mhz. The motherboard specs claim to be able to support memory clock speeds of up to 1800mhz yet I have had no success. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok. I haven't messed with asus boards much. I prefer gigabyte motherboards because I have had a few other asus boards fail on me. I had gotten this board for pretty cheap and it has been working well for me. I use amd overdrive in place of cpu-z and amd overdrive says 800. That should be the same right? Does the frequency multiplier that you had stated depend on the number of sticks of ram that I have? If it is of any importance the ram that I have is 4x4GB sticks of vengeance blue.
