So I'm new to overclocking and ive got a few questions. So i have an A320m motherboard which I'm pretty sure doesn't support overclocking. Now when i go into the bios to look at the OC features i can edit the CPU settings and such, I didn't save anything because the board isn't supposed to overclock from what ive heard and read. If anybody any ideas of if i can id be happy to do some tests because id like to be able to OC.

System specs:
Ryzen 5 1400
MSI A320m
16Gb Ballistix sport 2400
GTX 970

Alright sorry i wasn't able to respond yesterday I became busy. I'm pretty sure that i have tried to do a small overclock i think i just changed the multiplier to 34 from 32 and everything i checked said that it was at 3.4ghz but i couldn't tell the difference. I'll try it again.

Edit: I've tried a small OC to 3.5ghz and my PC wouldn't post so then i tried 3.4ghz like before and i ran some tests but im guessing that i can edit the cpu settings but the motherboard doesn't allow them to go through. i ran some tests and it ran at the base clock speed, sometimes it would jump to 3.4ghz like i set it too but never stayed at that speed for more than a second.

I've been able to increase it but ive never tried to lower it.

Still 3.2 but i came to the realization that I was trying to OC to the boost clock speed.

yes it would, I think im just gonna buy a new motherboard and give this one to a friend.

I meant to buy one from the beginning but i was to exited and bought this one, and yea i do.
