Hello, I was wondering if a ryzen 5 1400 would bottleneck a gtx 1080? The CPU is overclocked to 3.9 GHz and 1.45 Volts. So I would like to know if that would bottleneck but also 1.55 Volts is what ryzen overclocker lets you use at max. I how overclock using a open bios. So my question is could I overclock past that 1.55 volts to say 1.75 if I water cooler or is past 1.55 Volts where you get high temps and blow the cpu due to heat or blow it because it is to much voltage? Thanks

Solution
Anything over 1.4 voltage is dangerous.

AMD says 1.45 voltage is possible but they did say it will decrease the life of your CPU.

I can't say for certain but I believe it would bottleneck a GTX 1080 a little.
