Hi guys, I have a evga ftw 285 and a gigabyte 285. Im running them in sli mode. I havn't actually try to overclock them, becasue i dont have any previous sli overclocking experience.

I want to know if i want to overclock both of them, do i have to overclock them one by one?

Also, Evga and Gigabyte have their own overclock software, should i use those to overclock or Coolbits?

Many thx

You could use EVGA precision wich is honestly the easiest way to do it, or you could use rivatuner.

With evga precision there is an option to overclock both cards simultaneously.

That's a killer system you have there with dual GTX 285s. And now you want to overclock them. Besides trying to smash Futuremark 3D records, how much more performance can a gamer need?

Doesn't overclocking those dual 285s give diminishing returns let alone even higher heat on already toasty cards?

I guess you can always try to OC a tri sli setup!
