Hello, using so-dimm to dimm adapter to overclock Crucial Ballistix sport SODIMM 2400mhz cl16 to 2666mhz. Is it possible??? :D

Solution
you should not need or use any adapter for memory and i9f the option is available in the bios you should have no problems overclocking the ram but remember performance gaines on memory will be minimal not enough to justify chancing it with an adapter in my opinion cause the adapter could possably fry somthing but then again iv never heard of using a ram adapter

i have never heard of being able to use a memory adapter. however if you plug the memory in and its the correct type for the motherboard you are using you should be able to clock it to that without an adapter.

also to the first question anyones going to ask you is what kind of motherboard do you have model number?
