overclocking software?

my friend has a p4 3 ghz machine. i would like to overclock the pc, but the intel board has no option to do so. i guess i have to use third party software. i know there is one that let me do it in windows environment. Does anyone know the software. Please let me know.

Can't help you unless you tell which chipset that board is based on.

Can't help you unless you tell which chipset that board is based on.

As far as i remember, it has 865 chipset. it is my friend computer. at this time , this is only info i have got.

Well, just get ClockGen and hope that it'll work with a 865 chipset.

There most likely are better apps out there, feel free to look around.
