First of all I'd like to point out that I'm a beginner to overclocking.
My setup:
Asus Maximus Gene VI
i7 4770K with Noctua NH-D14 Push/Pull CPU Cooler
4x4GB G. Skill 1600MHz
Asus Strix GTX 970
My stability testing routine
1. AIDA64 Memory tests (READ/WRITE/COPY/LATENCY)
2. Cinebench R15
3. Realbench benchmark
4. Realbench stress test for 15mins
Overclocking so far:
Stable OC
i7 4770K@4.4GHz
Ring Ratio 39 (Default)
1866MHz 9-10-9-28-2
CPU Core: 1.235
Ring Voltage: 1.20
System Agent Voltage: +0.250
Analog Voltage: +0.025
Digital Voltage: +0.075
DRAM Voltage: 1.5000
Unstable OC
i7 4770K@4.5GHz
Ring Ratio 42 (I read on overclockersclub that @4.5GHz this should be set to 42)
1866MHz 9-10-9-28-2
After Multiple tries I got upto the last part of my testing routine (Realbench stress test @ 5mins in)
Last tried settings:
CPU Core: 1.25
Ring Voltage: 1.25
System Agent Voltage: +0.350
Analog Voltage: +0.1925
Digital Voltage: +0.1925
DRAM Voltage: 1.5000
Any help if i'm getting into danger voltages or how to proceed from here would be greatly appreciated.
