Overclocking the FX-6300

So i plan to overclock the fx-6300 upto 4.2 ghz with the board Asus M5A97 LE R2.0.

My PSU is Corsair VS550
My CPU Cooler is Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Can i safely overclock it to 4.2 ghz?

Your motherboard will burn up before you reach the thermal capacity of that cooler, but even still 4.2GHz should be easy enough.

The power supply is poor and the board has a poor power and thermal design.
