Overclocking to 3.6ghz safe????

I never really messed around with overclocking before sooo is it safe to OC my . . .

AMD phenom II x6 1090T @ 3.4ghz

to 3.6ghz?

keep in mind I have a stock heatsink. HOWEVER I have a pretty nice coolermaster case ( http://images.secure2cart.com/373/4438859-3122629/Raw/cooler-master-haf-922-rc-922m-kkn1-gp-no-power-supply-atx-mid-tower-case-black-GX3UD.jpg

with 4 case fans (1 intake fan)

idk u guise...would this be OK to do?

yea i think you will be ok, just expect the stock cooler to run full blast and you should monitor your cpu temps to make sure they stay in the safe range.

My friend got about that with stock cooling on his 1090t, using the stock cooler is never recommended for overclocking, but good case airflow should level out the extra heat from 200mhz.

The 1090t is stock 3.2, so unless u have alrdy have an overclock to 3.4, for the sack of keeping temps good, and noise levels at least invest in a cooler master tx3 or 212 $20-30.
