Question Overclocking went wrong guys please help me i overclocked my laptop but now it wont work the screen is black

Guys please help me i overclockled my laptop fron 60 hz to 82 hz but now my laptop screen is black i connected it to a tv and tried to change the hz back but it doesnt change please help me

You can kill old CRT's right away by increasing the refresh rate. Most monitor go blank to protect themselves. Overclocking a LCD monitor can kill it but its not expected. It could be true some circuit overheated and died. You never know but why overclock the refresh rate on a monitor? Its mostly pointless.
