Overclocking with CoolerMaster V8 GTS

I will be running an I5-4670k in my new rig and I wanted to know how far I can overclock my CPU.

For Haswell it varies greatly depending on the chip, but I would say you can at least hit 4.2-4.3Ghz. With that cooler, temperatures will not be your issue, the silicon lottery will be your main factor in overclocking.

Is that with or without upping the voltage?

There are no guarantees when it comes to overclocking any CPU or GPU or guarantees in the cooling performance of any cooler on the market.

It's a best guess for anyone advising you and I'm guessing maybe 4.5ghz with a better than average CPU luck of the draw.

I'm sure I can get to 5Ghz by overclocking by 1.2Ghz to 4.6 plus the 0.4Ghz boost. I just want to know if I can maintain the heat. I will have a 200mm fan blowing air in from the top directly to the CPU.
