Hi ,

I have a Athlon 1600+ processor working at 51o C ideally and at load at
58oC .

But increasing the FSB to 137 MHz it reads at 52oC and at load 56oC .

Well It shows at startup it is a Athlon 1700+.

Is it harmful to keep the FSB at 137Mhz .

And moreover I have left the Bank interleave at 4 (Crucial 256MB 2100 CLk 2.5) .
is it harmful for my memory.

I think unlocking the Multiplier is a very risky job???
Have a nice Day!!!!!!!!!

Those temps seem a little high...I have the same chip (unlocked) running at 11 X 137...runs at 36 idle and 42 under load...I don;t think you'll see any problems with the fsb at 137 (I haven't) I didn't hit any problems (data corruption) until 143, but 140 was fine...
