overcloking a 6700k

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/9yhLPs this is my build, can anyone help me overclock my 6700k, i have a gigabyte motherboard. i tried overclocking but i dident know how to change voltage which causesed my pc to go over 90c. even without overclocking in load the cpu reaches 80c. and i also dont want the core clock speed to stay that high when i am not doing so much.

do i just take the heatsink of and see if it is evenly distributed, and no i meant while stress testing it hit 80c while idle it is 30c

Do you have some monitoring software so you can see the voltage at full load? If the voltage is at auto, the motherboard is probably overvolting it (mine ran at 1.35V stock, while my overclock of 4.4GHz just needs 1.23V).

If you could check the voltage first, it might be just setting the voltage manually that solves your problem.

If the voltage turns out to be between 1.2 and 1.3V, you probably do need a reseat of the HSF.
