Question Overeating issue toshiba satelite l300

i have an old Toshiba satelite l300. The idle cpu temp is 85 c. I tried to clean the fan and the arflow channel but id did not help. Any ideas?

Use a vacuum on all the air vent holes see if you can find something stuck in there. Can you adjust the fan speed on your cpu cooler? I would also, if allowable pull the cpu cooler clean the cooling plate and cpu and reapply thermal paste its pretty old by now.
