Overhauling old PC

Hey, I'm interested in possibly upgrading my old PC. Looking for some assistance in what parts to switch out and all that,

*The graphics card was replaced with a radeon HD 4350 a while back*


APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: After ive organised parts, etc..

BUDGET RANGE: Sort of low budget, probably under $200. But it's fine if it goes a bit over.

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Needs to be able to run DayZ, things like Garry's Mod, and I wouldn't mind if it could even run some games like Crysis 3, Bf3, etc..

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: RADEON HD 4350, 300W power supply

RAM: 2GB DDR2
HDD: 320GB 7200RPM hard drive

PARTS PREFERENCES: I sort of prefer nVidia over AMD, had a bit of trouble with AMD in the past. 😛

These parts should be able to Crysis 3 and Battlefield 3

EDIT: If you are on a tight budget you can switch Galaxy Nvidia GeForce GT 630 ($59)

Which will play Gary's Mod and DayZ perfectly fine and it brings down the price to $269 because you don't need to
change your power supply

If your only gonna upgrade your old rig, I strongly suggest you get a Geforce 660Ti, another 2GB stick of DDR2 RAM, and an after market cooler to OC your PC (Your CPU will be a bottle neck).

However, I really recommend you build a new rig from scratch like thenay suggested. You could sell off your old rig for a few bucks to save up some more money.

Just get a q6600 quad core (make sure you do a bios update) add 2 gbs of ram and get a HD7850 = you're good to go
