So long story short i overclock my GT730 a lot ,very stable temps and performance
But few days back i changed the thermal paste ,applied a silicon based (it says silicon fluid ,physical from Grease-like on the pack), i made sure to apply a dab of it pea sized and everything
Made sure the heatsink is properly put back on
But now it over heats like crazy ,hotter than my mothers head when she's angry
Earlier temps were nicely in 50's Celsius (OC'd) and now they reach 98 degree Celsius (OC'd)
My question is that is there something wrong with my Thermal Paste ,did i do anything wrong ,is it voodoo thats doing it ,what could be the reason ,do i need a better thermal paste based on some other property ?
Any help would be much appreciated
