Sorry to hear about you dropped your Alienware alpha but sounds to me that the cooler fan inside the Alienware alpha could be damaged or loose after the fall!. If this had got warranty then i would contact them and see if they can fix it. But dont open it up because it could avoid it!

sounds like you pop off the fan on the cpu cooler or may have pop the gpu out of the pci slot a bit. if it the gpu all you do is losen up the screw holding the pci card to the case nd push down with power off and unplugged. if the cooler uses plastic legs it may have pop off the mb. if your lucky you can snap it back in. if your real unlucky and it a metal cooler you can rip the cpu slot off of the mb.
