Hi,
Initially when I built my computer I remember it being roughly 30 degrees Celsius in BIOS. Later on the cooler started to get noisy and I booted it through BIOS again to check things since and I have noticed that it is now capping at roughly 52 degrees. I removed the liquid cooler, re-applied thermal paste and put everything back but it's still overheating. The coolant also noticeably gets quite warm even after 5 minutes of boot time.
The CPU is a devil's canyon i7 processor and the liquid cooler is a Corsair H75. The Cooler has only a 120 mm radiator. It also has two fans in push/pull orientation and I use it as an intake which is how corsair advised me. Previously I used it as an exhaust when I initially built the unit but I'm quite sure that the air pressure was virtually neutral either way.
I have no idea how to check what specifically is causing the overheating. I never overclock and it didn't do this when I first built it. I have also since wiped the hard-drive and reinstalled Windows 10 and I am noticing that it's more laggy now, not less.
If I have to cut my losses and replace things I will but I would like to work out what is most likely the problem, thank you.
