i have an old pc which i need to use cuz my laptop is in service and its kinda messed up ....
specs
asus p5l 1394
intel pentinum d 3.01 ghz 2 cores 2 threads
2gb ram ddr2 801mhz
chinese power supply (safe?)
nvidia geforce 8500 gt 1gb gddr3
unknown coolers i think intel stock

I used it a very long time as a kid and did a huge amount of experiments with it (4os to boot, dos things, etc)
Never had a problem until now..
It was 9/10 with win7, shoulda sticked to that...
I thought it was a good idea to install windows vista.... force installing it... by changing bios alot and many modifications... then it worked, and then.
i was watching a video on it then it shut down i tried to boot it up again it didnt work.
next day i booted it up it made weird noises and weird things.
after a week (yesterday) i booted it up again, booted ok, windows vista loading screen was done, then it shut down. then... not starting anymore.
today i tried to go into windows and it go from 28°c to 38°c in 20 seconds
is fan good? 1088-1091rpm
can anybody help me?
