Question overheating gpu

Hi i have problem,
I have new gpu - rx 590, when i play some games that are demanding on graphics like farcry 4 or games like that it goes to insane temperatures like 75 and after about half an hour it went even to 82 then i turned the game off bcs i didnt want to damage the gpu. Do you have any tips how to fix this problem ? thx

Being close to it, doesn't mean it was over it.
The GPU knows more about its thermal limits than you do. So trust in the thermal limits.
If you are that worried, take the side of your case off and see how that goes with your temps.
You just may have a really bad airflow in your computer.

Built-in protection features will prevent any sort of catastrophic overheating, regardless of whether you overclock.

If you're really concerned about it you can adjust the fan profile so that the fans spin faster and keep the card cooler.
