Is it possible that my GPU may overheat(70-80 Celsius) because of where my PC is placed?
The hole in the PC where the air comes out is faced at under a table which is very small and narrow and a lacks space

Solution
well it wont help if you have the case in a confined space.
Adding more fans to the system case would help if you have room to fit any more in the case, and help to knock a few degrees of the graphics card you have.

If the card has been in your system for a few months it is worth removing it and checking for any dust buildup.
The main place for dust to build up on the card if it uses a single fan of paddle wheel design is between the fan and the front edge of the cooling solution of the card, internal to the shroud of the card.

If the graphics card uses two or three fans that blow air down over on to the cooling solution of the card simply use a small soft paint brush to clear any dust build up.

It will also knock a few degrees off...

Set the fan profile for the graphics card other than the auto setting to a manual speed setting.
With a higher set Rpm speed set. that way it will keep ahead of any thermal heat build up of the cooling solution on the graphics card.

To be honest you should check and clean the card about every six to eight months. keeping to that schedule.
And think about replacing the thermal compound of the cards Gpu and cooler about every two years to keep it in tip top condition.
