Hey Bois,

So my CPU is Ryzen 5 2600, and it's water-cooled with a Corsair H100i v2. Pump seems to be fine, and fans on full rpms running a 5% load at 80c-90c based on coretemp. But my MSI command center and bios are telling me im at 32c. I have reapplied thermal paste multiple times and seems to be fine. My mother board is a MSI x470 gaming plus.

Any idea why the coretemp number is so high? before I saw the high CPU temp i OC'd the baby to 4.0 ghz and and played 8 hours of warhammer with no throttle or shutdown. i have a feeling the BIOS temp is accurate.

What is your guys opinion for the high coretemp? any ideas on how to fix it?

thanks Dawgz

Solution
Try running hwinfo64 version 6.00
Running sensors only.
Compare to ryzen master.
Corsair is supposedly working on updates to combat the ryzen 20+degree offset issue.
My core temp, and hwinfo64 read about 1/2 a degree from each other in line with ryzen master.
Corsair link 4 shows my package temp in the 90c range.
