Question Overheating in the menus.

As the title suggests my GPU (Zotac GTX 1070ti) is overheating BADLY inside of Call Of Duty Black Ops 4's menus, however, in-game the GPU maintains fine temps. For example, if I let my GPU sit in the menus for a minute or two it will overheat greatly, peaking in the mid-'90s, but if I shoot straight for a game (zombies in this instance) it will not overheat, instead, balancing at around 64C. I realize this isn't something advertised as a categoric thread on here, but I still hope I can get some help.

My build
CPU - Ryzen 5 1600
GPU - GTX 1070ti (Zotac mini)
Motherboard - Gigabyte AB30N gaming wifi AM4
Storage - 250gb m.2 SSD & a 1tb SSD
Cooler - EVGA watercooler
PSU - Corsair SF650

P.S - I can tell my GPU is being pushed in usage by monitoring it on afterburner, and every time it goes into overdrive the fan kicks on to 100%.

Hi,
I think the problem is with the FPS limitations in main menu. I had similar problems with PUBG. There was no FPS limit im menu so GPU usage was always 100% and in game ok. Maybe same problem occurs in COD. Try set you fps limit in game setting - depends on your monitor refresh rate and personal feeling.

@wasshup I just tried it and my GPU is still hitting about 90% usage : (. Must be something in the settings... I'll play around with it.

@wasshup I tried fiddling with the settings a nothing has worked so far : (. My GPU still ramps up in the menus for seemingly no reason.

How many FPS do you have in menu ?

I set it to 30, but normally it would run around 60 since I have Vsync on. @wasshup
