[SOLVED] overheating issues/random shutdowns

Just bought a prebuilt and the pc turns off/goes to a black screen while playing games like GTA5. My rx470 sits idle at about 75° while during gaming it easily goes 100° and above. im thinking the problems are the GPU/PSU. any idea on what to do?
rx470, i5-3470, 8gb ddr3, OEM LGA1155 motherboard, and a SuperMax 400 watt PSU.

Where did you buy this prebuilt? If you can, bring it back to the place of purchase with the receipt and ask for a fix/replacement. Tell them the issue and your problems with the prebuilt. It's most likely a thermal paste issue, but have it serviced since most prebuilts have a 30 or 60 day warranty. Have them test the CPU and GPU before giving the system back to you.


Also if you can, ask for a better PSU in the system as the one you currently have isn't the best.
