Question Overheating Issues

I just got my ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 GA502IU recently. When i gaming the temp can reach 90 - 95 degrees average for cpu, and 85 degrees for GPU with Turbo. Is this normal occurance and how long will it last? Thanks!

What games are you taxing the laptop with? See if you have a BIOS update pending. See if reducing details in-game helps with temps.

I'm playing black desert online on remastered graphic. I have the latest BIOS installed and yes reducing the graphic quality decrease both GPU and CPU temp it's 85 - 90 average for CPU and 75 - 80 average for GPU. What are the recommended temp for laptop, i just bought it and expect to use it for around 3 to 4 years.

If you're truly worried about the temps I'm sure there are external cooling products for laptops. Of course there might be another issue.

I view some of the review regarding GA502IU and it runs hot. But i'm not sure how long will it last, i expect to use this product for at least 3-4 years. I do own a cooling pad but it does not help very much.

Cooling pads are a waste of time in my experience. My Dell G5 got the same cooling improvement by adding taller rubber feet that lift the laptop about 3-4mm higher off the table and I don’t have to mess around with the cooling pad.
