overheating of cpu

I have amd athelon x2 245 series processor...it is overheated during playing high end gaming like battlefield 3....what should i do....???i have also cooler master thunder 450 and his radeon r7 240 1 gb ddr5....cant stop overheating of my processor...plzzz help..

probably maximum 85 c...and the computer shut down automatically... 🙁

Clean out the heatsink/fan if it has too much dust(Air dusters make quick easy work of this).

Sometimes thermal paste needs to be cleaned and replaced.

Like nukemaster said you also may try removing the side of the case and see if it helps.
What case do you have?
