stock everything else
had a dual core with no problems overheating. slapped a quad core in it and now I'm overheating. tried different ways to apply thermal paste even the recommended procedure for this processor. still overheating. fans cranked at 100% with no luck. I posted about a day ago and someone said a new fan with the ability to cool 95w of heat would work. question is where do I find a fan with 95w of cooling power? lol that's low profile and that'll fit my socket because I have the old fashioned two piece clips. (socket h lga1156) if someone can find me a fan to fit my pc id really appreciate it. any help is needed. or is this processor junk and I'm just no seeing it. proecesoor was hitting temps of 70c and up. I don't think that's normal.
