Hi i have a question, recently my graphics card broke, i changed it for a gtx1070. I also took this chance to dust of the case and fans. Now whenever i try to play a game the cpu temp spike to 90c and it shuts down. I didnt have this problem with the previous card, what could it be?

Solution
You've probably disturbed the CPU cooler and need to remove it and re-apply thermal paste. Make sure you didn't inadvertently unplug the fan.

Thx for the quick answer, i will replace the thermal paste tomorrow, it justs seems strange to me to have this problem as soon as i got the new card (and clean install w10). The cpu cooler is plugged in correctly.
