Help!!! I just installed my x62 and my computer is still overheating which doesn't seem possible as it's a constant ~40 deg Fahrenheit in my house. I have my radiator front mounted on my case with my fans in-taking and 1 rear fan exhausting. I'm not sure what the issue is. The only way I can play any games is if I limit my CPU power max state to 80%, which even still overheats here and there. I know dust isn't the issue as I was very thorough dusting everything.

You do realize that CPU is not supported on that motherboard, right?
Here's the compatibility list...

When you say overheating, how hot is it getting? Are you noticing any throttling or crashing?

If it's still getting really hot with the x62, my guess would be that the cooler isn't seated properly, or something is stopping it making proper contact. Maybe take it off, clean it, reapply thermal paste then put it back?

Your CPU is drawing more power than that motherboard can handle.
