I'm building an office PC and I will be using this system to do some spread sheets, surf the web, and do some online banking. I have been told that $1200 is overkill for this, but I am just saying that it is the most I am willing to pay. I need this system to last a long time, run very cool, but still be relatively quiet, and have a low profile black case that is in micro atx form factor. I need an included wifi card, and I would like a good enough GPU to be able to do photo and video editing occasionally.

Other Musts:
Windows 8(included in price)
8gbs ram
1 terabyte hard drive + SSD
USB 3.0(Obviously)

Almost forgot, the case has to have an optical drive bay, and include and Optical drive
in the build. Thx. Also, can you give me an estimate of how long this pc will last doing what i want it to do? Thanks again

I don't see the point in going with a low-profile Micro-atx case over a low profile Mini-ITX case. You're not going to be able to add a video card worth anything to either one, so why not go with the smaller ITX form factor? A lot of mini-itx mobos include wifi adapters. Anyway here's what I'd suggest(small but not LP):

But you don't really need a video card for editing, and if you're willing to use a usb optical drive, an intel NUC would be a very attractive option.

The z97 mother board doesn't make much sense to me, and the CPU is clocked pretty slow compared to some others at that price range....also I like the case incase(lol) I buy two 770s and turn it into a gaming rig.
