I overclocked my friends 6700k to 4.2Ghz and everything was stable. Went back to BIOS and sped up his RAM to 3200 and everything was stable. Went back to BIOS after playing overwatch for awhile to try and OC to 4.4GHz. When i did that and tried to reboot we got a blue screen. It went into trying to automatic repair and stayed there for awhile. I shut the computer down and went back to the bios and reset everything to stock. Eventually fixed it when i reinstalled windows. but just curious if 4.4 is really to high for the 6700k. Theres no way. Really only the second time ive ever overclocked the first being early today when i overclocked my 7700k to 4.8 and havent had any issues with mine but i could have easily done something else wrong with his.
