Oct 6 2014: I woke up this morning and found that BING was now my default search engine and also that Microsoft Office was now installed on my Dell 8500 which runs Windows 7. Who authorized this. I refuse to pay for Office as I have several free office suites that work just as well.
I don't like Bing I like Google, Now I have to delete all the new crap. This is nonsense!

Solution
You or someone installed an update or software that was bundle with bing.

Also could be that if it's a branded computer, a windows update might of toggle office trial.

simply uninstall all the programs from control panel.

You might want to run adwcleaner, roguekiller and malware bytes antimalware from bleepingcomputer.com to rule out malware

lol.. my guess is that you did.. or someone with access to your comp.

I presume you have not paid for a subscription.. so it prob just a demo at the moment.
Just go to add/remove progs and uninstall.
You may need "repair" your old office apps to get them reassociate with file extensions..

Cheers
