So I am upgrading a lot of my computer hardware in the next week or two, this includes the case, cpu cooler, PSU, and a few extra things.
I am getting the Corsair 760T Black, and was wondering if it would be fine sitting on carpet because of its large stands? I plan on facing my new PSU(RM750i) upwards so the fan is inside the case
I am getting the Corsair H115i AIO and getting the Corsair SP140 Red LED fans because I am going for a red because of my current motherboard and whatnot
I also plan on replacing the fan on the back of the 760T with an AF140 Red LED
Im getting the NZXT Hue because of the LED strip length and it seems to be the only thing I can find that is simple and straight forward.
I am also getting the CableMod C series cables made for the RMX and RMI, Should I go with red and black cables? or just red?

Solution
I would still go to lowes and buy a white 12 inch by 24 inch shelf to sit the PC on there about 4.85

The Hue+ is nice have one myself

Sounds like some nice upgrade GL with it all

It really depends on the pile of your carpet. If you've got ~1cm of space, just go ahead and install the PSU in the proper orientation. That case has a filter on the PSU mesh. In general, carpet is just not a stable place to put a large tower, so maybe get a short table or something for it. I have my desk, and then a tiny, cheap ($8) IKEA end table kind of half-under it. I put my tower on the exposed part of the end table. I don't have carpet, its just a nice way to keep the tower off the ground while conserving desk space.
