Bought a new GPU (GTX 660) to play Overwatch. My system restarted while playing through the opening tutorial. GPU jumps up to 70C shortly after starting the game(menu screen). When I attempted to play again I noticed a sizzle/crackle sound coming from what I think is the PSU. Looking through the forums it sounds like I either need to replace the thermal paste or get a new PSU. My PSU says "Total 680W," but I've included pics in case there's more to it.

Solution
Most likely it's the PSU struggling to meet the requirements of the GPU.

A GTX 660 needs a PSU which has at least 24 amps on the 12 volt rails, your PSU only has 20 amps so it's buckling under the strain.

Many PC builders/upgraders mistakenly think it's only the PSU wattage that matters, it's not.

See third post from top in this thread: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2413678/gtx-660-power-supply-requirements.html

Get the PSU changed ASAP because if it fails altogether it can kill the GPU too.
