Overwriting windows 8 with ubuntu issues

fails? is there an error log or message? are you trying to manual install or automatic?

It sais failed to install on drive (name of disk i tried like ext2 3 or 4) i am installing it manualy as the automatic thing wants to install it onto my USB not my computers hard drive

I want to install ubuntu onto my C drive and relace everything on it from a USB how do i do this?
