P-touch error

I have a brothers PT-2730 and was working fine then when I went to print another label the message encoder error came up , how do I resolve?

try resetting it like this

Turn off the machine.

While holding down Shift and R, press power to turn the machine back on.

Release Shift and R . The P-touch turns on with the internal memory reset.
