I would stick with the 100MHz e version CPUs because they are better for OCing (more room for bus increase). Other than that, they are very similar.

I have to agree with LTJ on this one, except for this-If you are an extreme overclocker, the 866 will do 975 at 150FSB. If you are an insane overclocker the 800 will do 1GHz at 166FSB. For us ordinary overclockers, the 700 is the perfect choice (933@133, 980@140).
Remember that most PIII's have a 980MHz stability threshold that can sometimes be resolved by larger than normal voltage increases.

Me too. Also, you can simply use PC133 SDRAM and achieve excellent results.
