Question P2P WiFi connection setup

Hi,
If someone knows how to establish the WiFi connection between 2 home computers? Direct connection so it would be possible to transfer files between 2 machines? OS Windows 10 and 11. Both computers are connected to the home WiFi LAN. I know both IPs.

The simplest way is to share a folder on one PC. Use that folder to store or retrieve on the second PC.

A shared folder in Windows would work for this. Alternatives would be to use a program like WinSCP to copy files between systems. Also you could setup an FTP server, which would allow you to transfer files easily between the two devices. https://filezilla-project.org/

Finally I got to my network for testing... Thanks for answer. I guess you meant the usual WiFi LAN connection (my question was about the P2P without usual network), which I actually didn't tested either.
BUT I did connected trough the LAN. One thing to notice- I had to turn on the Network discovery and turn off the password authentication for my PC to be able to share the folder.

Yes to network discovery, no to password. You can create a login for sharing. Then enter that password on the other PC and have it remember it.
