I am about to build a new rig based around a Q6600 G0, and was wondering if it is worth waiting for the X38-based mobos to be released (presumably early-mid September as I saw elsewhere on these forums). The main thing I'm looking at is PCIE-2.0 support - don't want to be left in the dust with a P35 if they don't support it.

I found this article through a Yahoo search:
http://www.netscape.com/viewstory/2007/06/21/p35-supports-pci-express-20/?url= http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bit-tech.net%2Fnews%2F2007%2F06%2F06%2Fp35_supports_pcie_2%2F1& amp;frame=true

While it looks legit, can anyone else confirm this?

Thanks.

No, the guys misread the diagram and said that it does. It in fact does not. Just go to Intel and dload the specs. Or hell, check the wiki.
